The very first blog I started reading when I started blogging was Ashley’s blog, Dancing with Ashley. We grew up in the same little ol’ city and have since graduated college and started families! Her blog is also the very first blog I’ve ever sponsored and she set the bar so high for all other blogs I’ll ever sponsor in the future. The attention and guidance she provided was truly invaluable (so much so that I’ve already signed up to sponsor her again in June)! But really, she’s awesome and her blog is awesome and it’s one of the ones that I read daily! It’s not so much because I actually know her, but because I truly enjoy reading what she has to say!!!
Next up, one of my IRL best friends who I grew up with, Mionna, who blogs over at Just Mi! How cool is it to share the world of blogging with one of your very best friends right?!? I’m telling you, it’s super cool (<—although that was probably lame)! She totally get’s this side of me (the blogger) because she actually knows how much goes into it! We’re able to get each other’s opinion, share ideas and just support each other in a way that only another blogger could! It’s an amazing feeling having someone you can connect with on this level and she probably has no idea how much I love reading what she has to say on her blog and through the comments she leaves on my site. Hopefully, it’s something we’ll get to share in for a lifetime!
Last but most certainly not least, Tasha who blogs over at Lovely You! She’s actually my aunt on my mom’s side but we’re only seven years apart and relate to each other more like sisters or friends than we do aunt-niece! I’ve admired her since I can remember and she just keeps doing things to amaze me. For instance she works full time as an engineer (yes, she’s a mechanical engineer from NCSU as well and yes, I followed her footsteps and did the same), has a family yet still finds time to sew and run her shop AND blog! Yeah, she’s an awesome mentor to have folks, I’m just saying! It’s not like I haven’t boosted her up enough already but this lady can dress! Her fashion sense is so out of this world, in my opinion, and I so look forward to what she has to offer as a fashion designer and fashion blogger!
These ladies have no idea that I’m writing about them today but I just wanted to let the world know how grateful I am to have them as friends in the blogging world and beyond. I hope you’ll pay them all a visit! I’m most certain you’ll see why I think they’re all so very special!
*IRL = In Real Life (just in case you didn’t know)!
great blog!
Thanks so much, Katherine, and thanks for stopping by!
great ladies looks like.
They truly are!
Hopped around a bit! You had such nice things to say about these ladies, couldn't resist!
Yes, dear, I stand behind every word! I hope you've found some new ladies to follow!!!
AAAAWWWWW NICOLE!!! This just touches my heart and makes me smile. We both know how wordy I can be, so I'll keep this short and sweet. It has definitely been a neat journey (that adjective is probably just as lame as super cool…lol) to go through with you. I feel it's definitely brought us closer in many ways and I'm so glad that I can share in this with you!! It will definitely come in handy with keeping us connected when the miles between us grow…and I look forward to seeing how we both grow in this in the future!!
Hugs AND Many Kisses!!!!!!
:)!!!
I always love finding new blogs to read. Thank you for sharing these. It's great to blog with a IRL friend! I have a friend but she has stopped blogging, but we still talk about blogs and twitter stuff. Looking forward to checking these ladies out. Wanted to let you know I gave you a shout out today. http://themahoganyway.com/welcome-may-sponsors-and-friends/
Same here, Darcel! Most of the blogs I read consistently are the ones that someone else has spoken very highly of through a post!
Thank you so much for the shout out today, I truly appreciate it!!!
I had no idea you and Natasha are related (until I read her recent post about using you as a prop while imitating Dirty Dancing). I love her style and her blog!
You can't see the resemblance, lol!
I had forgotten about the Dirty Dancing thing myself until I read her post and the memories just flooded back in! Hilarious!
I love Ashely too! She has helped me so much with advice and encouragement. I will definitely check out the other two ladies. They sound fab.
