The hubs, on the other hand, has always been very active. However, seeing me working out consistently motivated him to spend a little more time in the gym lifting weights, instead of just playing basketball. Since he has such a fast metabolism, is always hungry, always eating and requires lots of protein, I figured he could use some whey protein.
I tried it and it’s, well, disgusting! He had no problem mixing the chocolate with milk but we weren’t sure how to use the vanilla in a way that it could be tolerated. But then my coworker shows up one day with some homemade protein bars. Perfect! Since I make a mean (read: excellent!) homemade granola bar I figured making protein bars would be easy peasy…
and guess what? It was!
…and we he liked them! #Score
